Five Honored As Palmerton’s Guiding Stars

On Thursday, March 7, five of our seniors were honored by the Palmerton Concourse Club as this year's Guiding Stars. Serenity Hamilton, Maddie Everett, Hannah Barry, Megan Matsko, and Cora Wentz were awarded at the meeting as the 2023-2024 Guiding Stars. Each senior must be involved in community service and events, hold leadership positions, and stand within the top twenty five percent of the class academically. The girls were honored and wrote speeches about their very own Guiding Star, and then were instructed to have the Concourse Club guess which dream job the girls had. The Palmerton Concourse Club is extremely involved in our community, as they are a group of women from the area who are dedicated to public service and bettering our town.
