8 Students Announced as PA School Press Association Finalists

Palmerton High School has 8 Students being recognized as finalists for the Pennsylvania School Press Association. Students from the Video Club, Yearbook, and Newspaper headed to Penn State Berks on November 8th to compete against other students from 8 different counties hoping to come out on top.

The following students will travel to Penn State University Park in State College, PA to compete at the state level in the following categories:

Yearbook Sports Writing - Josh Merkel

Literary Magazine Poetry - Cheyenne Whitaker

Broadcast Feature Video - Katie Heimbach, Megan Matsko & Jared Reinhard

Podcast - Serenity Hamilton, Nicole Kester & Maddy Wentz
