Marching Band is Up and Running

The 2023-24 Blue Bomber Marching Band is back and better than ever for the 2023 football season. The band and new director Mr. Blanchard have been working hard since August to piece together the field show for this year. The band has grown this year to a size of about 39 including the Silk Squad. The show theme picked last year by Mrs. Muller was “Binge Watching” popular TV show themes. Songs include: The Sponge Bob Theme Song, The Mandolorian, Running up that Hill (Made popular by season four of Stranger Things, and The Friends Theme (as of right now the Friends Theme has not been preformed on the field yet).

The Silks are featured in Running up that Hill and have some new equipment for SpongeBob. Officers this year include: Drum Major- Josh Rehatcheck, Assistant Drum Major- Zane Himmelright, President- Aidan Heist, Vice President- Alex Beblavy, Secretary/Treasurer-

Cheyenne Whitaker, Silks Captain- Peyton Neff, and Quarter Master- Kris Silva. The marching band has been preforming amazing shows so far, and they are excited to continue cheering on the football team alongside the cheerleaders. They are also excited for the upcoming Halloween parade in October.
